About Me

My photo
Sam Jasper
This blog is being retooled. It began as a post-Katrina chronicle but time moves on. Some posts continue to be New Orleans-centric. Some will be my thoughts as an aging activist hoping that my memories of what went before, in addition to historical context, can help the brilliant young activists I see coming on up to the front of the line. If I learned anything along the way that can help them, or if they can light a different path for me, I will have gained in the doing. Context is everything and sometimes the context changes with time.
